The inspiration for the research was a customer request 3D printing of face shield frames during COVID-19 pandemic. In this context, but also due to possibilities relatively cheap various products, large amount waste started be generated that needed disposed of. overall aim contribute development new products printed using Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) technology from thermoplastic materials, with view maximizing quality level and minimizing environmental footprint cost production. A modified Quality Function Development (QFD) methodology applied, supplemented by material planning matrix model which is scientific contribution research. According an extended QFD taking into account particular characteristics control selection decisions in terms impact, were biodegradable PHA Biowood Rosa filament. Waste management improvement proposed filaments biologically degradable materials or recycled filaments.
